Charlotte was encouraged by the fact that, although often living in poverty, the children she encountered in these countries still displayed the loveliest smiles. They all faced various challenges but still giggled, played, had fun and lived their lives to their full, a positivity which Charlotte has compared to the brave children from BFTF.
Award winning travel portrait photographer and avid traveller Charlotte Broster collected images of children in Thailand, Laos and Cambodia for an exhibition in aid of Wokingham charity 'Building for the Future'.
Building for the Future represents all disabled children and their families in the Wokingham area. The charity works hard to raise awareness of disabled children and promote community involvement in its projects. BFTF runs many events which are held specifically to give disabled children a chance to enjoy experiences that other children take for granted.
All profits raised from the sale of Charlotte Broster's photography will go towards building a new, state-of-the-art community centre for the children from 'Building for the Future'.
