Outdoor family photography

The weather may have been up and down (more down than up!), but I have managed some lovely outdoor shoots, for example this beautiful bluebell shoot – taken in a location very sentimental to the client. There was plenty of sunshine, much to the delight of my customer, but very challenging for the photographer! Keeping mum and daughter in lovely, flattering light was a tricky business…but it was achieved! I’ve wanted to do a bluebell shoot for so long, I was over-the-moon when I got the call about this job!

I’ve just made another trip to visit artist Esther Coombs to see her latest work and complete further product photography for her. I’ve been photographing Esther’s work, based on reusing and recycling, for a number of years. Her work is entirely unique, often challenging to photograph (so much shiny surfaces!)
