A lovely nursery!
This week I photographed over 60 lovely little children at the Oaktree Nursery in Finchampstead, Wokingham. It was great to get out the studio and, er, create another little studio! All the children were lovely, some were a little daunted by having their photo taken by a stranger but I worked hard with the nursery teachers to relax them and make them smile. There was a lot of work to do after the shoot – the editing and setting up a private album on my website for each parent. I decided to do this rather than proof cards and will collect feedback to see what method parents preferred.
I am also frantically trying to organise a fundraising project for local disabled children’s charity Building for the Future. Some of my best photographs from my travels will be on display at Nirvana Spa and cards and calendars will be for sale. We hope to raise some cash to put towards a new community centre for the children. More news will follow about this….
